About Lucy Agace

My passion for the protection and conservation of marine life led me to the world of sustainability. Having spent 35 years diving the world’s reefs, as an underwater photographer and dive book publisher, I could already see reef habitats deteriorating and the negative impacts of some fishing activities. To protect our oceans and the complex ecosystems they support, effecting a positive influence on human activity became my goal.

I have certifications with Green Globe, Cambridge University Institute of Sustainable Leadership, Global Sustainable Tourism Council, Global Environment Facility. I’m a founder member of CORALL the Coral Reef Restoration Alliance Barbados.

My business, Go Green Sustainability, provides a transition certification program for Green Globe assisting larger businesses or a stand alone certification. I also provide certifications such as; Responsible Hospitality and Responsible Rentals to assist smaller hospitality and accommodation companies. An onsite independent audit is carried out by our accredited professional auditor.
