NEW SPECIFIERS' GUIDE TO FLOORING IS THE FLOORING BIBLE FOR ARCHITECTS AND SPECIFIERS

Sussex-based publishing company Kick-Start Publishing, which publishes Contract Flooring Journal (CFJ) and Tile & Stone Journal (TSJ), will launch its latest edition of The Specifiers' Guide to Flooring for architects and installers later this year.

The definitive guide, which was launched at a star-studded event at Clerkenwell Design Week five years ago, provides a specification tool for architects, designers, FMs and specifiers on all aspects of flooring. Exploring key materials, from carpet to vinyl, ancillary products and accessories – and everything in-between – the guide provides a rich resource for the industry, in hard copy format and online at http://www.specifiersguide.co.uk

Following in the footsteps of highly successful sister publication – The Specifier’s Guide to Tile & Stone – the flooring-focused guide includes commentary from the most prominent names in the industry, as well as technical analysis and inspirational imagery - from global case study references to exploded material make-ups.

The guide has been praised for its ‘compelling, substantive, clear and concise content; an invaluable guide for the complex specification process’.

‘The success of both guides over the years have completely exceeded our expectations,’ said Stuart Bourne, managing director of Kick-Start Publishing. 'When we set out to emulate the success of The Specifier’s Guide to Tiling, five years ago we never imagined the Guide to Flooring would take off in such a huge way. And to see so many important people from the flooring industry still providing their expertise is something special.’
